(Horizons, Exploring the Universe, Seeds, figure 9, from the Association of Universities for Research in Astronomy, Inc..)Modern science, the science of astronomy, both based on observations and theoretical, clearly indicates that at some point the entire universe is still a 'smoke' (ie gas composition very dense and not transparent, The First Three Minutes, a Modern View of the Origin of the Universe, Weinberg, p.. 94-105.). This is a principle that no doubt by the standards of modern astronomy. Scientists can now see the formation of new stars and the legacy of 'smoke' like that (see figure 10 and 11)
Glittering stars we see at night, as the entire universe, previously was a matter 'smoke' like that. God has said in the Qur'an:
ثم استوى إلى السماء وهي دخان
Then he headed to the creation of the heavens and the sky was still a smoke, ... (Al Fushshiilat, 41: 11)
Because the earth and the sky above it (the sun, moon, stars, planets, galaxies, etc.) formed from the 'smoke' the same, then it can be deduced that the sun and the earth once a single entity. Then they separated and formed the 'smoke' which is homogeneous. God has said:
أولم ير الذين كفروا أن السماوات والأرض كانتا رتقا ففتقناهما
And whether those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were of one piece, then We clove them asunder. (Al-Anbiya, 21:30)
Dr. Alfred Kroner is one of the leading geologists. He is a professor of geology and head of the Department of Geology at the Institute of Geosciences, Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz, Germany. He said: "If you view the place of origin Muhammad ... I think it is highly unlikely if he could find something like the origin of the universe of material that one, because scientists have only learned this in a few years ago through a variety of complex ways and with the latest technology. This is the reality. " He also said:"Someone who does not know anything about nuclear physics 14 centuries ago, in my opinion, will never be able to find out, through his own thought, that once the earth and sky came from this one."
